Not only was this incredible to photograph, but it was a wonderful experience to be a part of. Amy, from Mendhi Nomadic, came to Chelsea’s home to create a one of a kind masterpiece on her beautiful growing belly. She uses her own recipe of all natural ingredients to provide a safe and lasting henna tattoo. Amy adds as she goes, and creates the work of art by following the lines of her subjects body, stoping only when she feels that it’s complete. I loved watching her create. She has a kind and calm energy about her that made me instantly love her.
Documenting this journey into motherhood for Chelsea is incredibly important to me and I can hardly wait to attend the birth of her baby. Chelsea captures so many beautiful moments in peoples lives- it is an honour to make the precious moments tangible for her. She has taught me so much and I am so grateful to be a part of this beautiful story. xx
