This couple welcomed their beautiful baby girl into the world just after 1am this morning. At 41 weeks Shannon and Jay were more than ready to meet her, apparently she couldn’t wait either… Mama worked hard, and brought her baby girl into her arms in record time. She skipped early labour, and jumped right into transition, so all the work they did to prepare was well worth it. They trusted each other, and headed to the hospital just in time. With the loving support of her husband and her own mama (who just so happens to be an L&D Nurse) she followed the queues her body was giving her, and rocked her hospital birth. It was an honour to be in the presence of such power and grace. Shannon and Jay, thank you for choosing me to be with you on this journey… I’m so grateful to have been able to capture these memories for you, may they always remind you of the connection you share and the strength you possess.
